INFORMATION FOR THE CLIENT

If the customer wishes to have information or make any claim or complaint in relation to the service, he may contact the competent authorities in matters of consumption or consumer associations.

 

At Santa Marta Tintorers, we have at the disposal of customers the Official Regulations that regulate the operation and the letter of recommendations of the customer of the service of cleaning and conservation of textile, leather, leather and synthetic products.

 

In Santa Marta Tintorers we will compensate for the loss or irreparable damage of the piece with the amount that by mutual agreement has been consigned in the receipt.

 

If no amount has been agreed, the value of compensation will be calculated with the table of the collaboration agreement with consumer associations.

 

We have a Complaints Form available to the customer who requests it.

 

At Santa Marta Tintorers we will only ask for full or partial advance payment of the amount of the service, when there is express consent from the customer.

 

 

 

COMPENSATION TABLE

Collaboration agreement between consumer associations and business associations of dry cleaners and laundries
 

The liability of the dry cleaner will be limited to compensation for the acquisition value of the piece according to the invoice, or failing that, the average market price, always taking into account the following percentages for the wear of the piece:

 

  • piece less than 6 months ................................................................ 80% of the acquisition value

  • piece from 7 to 12 months (1 year) ............................................. 70% of the acquisition value

  • piece from 13 to 18 months ............................................................ 50% of the acquisition value

  • piece from 19 to 36 months (3 years) ....................................... 30% of the acquisition value

  • piece from 36 months (3 years) .................................................... no value compensation

 

High value pieces, over € 600:

 

  • piece less than 12 months (1 year) .............................................. 80% of the acquisition value

  • piece from 13 to 24 months (2 years) ........................................ 70% of the acquisition value

  • piece from 25 to 36 months (3 years) ....................................... 50% of the acquisition value

  • piece from 37 to 60 months (5 years) ....................................... 30% of the acquisition value

  • piece from 60 months (5 years) .................................................... no value compensation

 

Disposable pieces, and those of bride and communion:

 

  • piece less than 12 months (1 year) ............................................... 50% of the acquisition value

  • piece from 13 to 24 months (2 years) ......................................... 25% of the acquisition value

  • piece from 25 to 60 months (5 years) ........................................ 10% of the acquisition value

  • piece from 60 months (5 years) ..................................................... no value compensation

 

The responsibility of Santa Marta Tintorers will be limited only to the pieces entrusted for its treatment, not so of the set of which they could form part, if this one has not been deposited in the establishment in its entirety.

 

The valuation and age of the piece to be compensated will be carried out by presenting the invoice or other supporting document with probative value, or by mutual agreement.

 

For any dispute over compensation, action will be taken in accordance with the provisions of RD 1453/1987 and will go to the consumer arbitration boards that will determine the issues to be resolved.
